Giovanni Pico della Mirandola
Giovanni Pico della Mirandola was born on February 24, 1463, in Mirandola, Italy. Over his many years in the Renaissance Giovanni, had made many famous Renaissance texts. One of the more known text was "Oration on the Dignity of Man" which was interesting during the time period. He was also the very first Christian scholar to use Kabbalistic doctrine. Which had helped in the Christian theology fied during the time.
Petrarch
Petrarch was born Francesco Petrarca on July 20, 1304, in Arezzo, Tuscany. He was a scholar who is the "Father of Humanism," a philosophy that helped the Renaissance. He first started to study law, but after his fathers death he gave it up and practiced the classics. Petrarch became a cleric, making him eligible for ecclesiastical postings, which help him in his interest in ancient literature. He had believed that humanity could reach more than past accomplishments. The doctrine he espoused became known as humanism, and it helped form a connection between Middle Ages to the Renaissance.
Tycho Brahe
Born on December 14, 1546, Tycho wanted to became one of the Renaissance greatest scientists. He was interested in the atmosphere and everything that went on in the solar system. He had looked at a designed that was created by Copernican, a table that would predicted the overlap of Jupiter and Saturn. After finding that Copernican tables were several days off in predicting the overlap of Jupiter and Saturn, Tycho Brahe decided to correcting them. His observations were the most accurate possible (before the invention of the telescope). Included a full study of the solar system and accurate positions of more than 777 fixed stars, and what he accomplished was amazing still to this day.
